1 Corinthians 15:31

31 καθ᾽ ἡμέραν ἀποθνῄσκω, νὴ τὴν ὑμετέραν καύχησιν, [ἀδελφοί], ἣν ἔχω ἐν Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ τῷ κυρίῳ ἡμῶν.

31 I die daily, as surely as I boast about you, [brothers], (a boast) which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord.

καθ᾽ ἡμέραν – prep. phrase. Adverbial idiom for “daily.”

ἀποθνῄσκω, – subj. and main verb [pres-act-ind-1-s-αποθνήσκω]. Customary present [W521-22].

νὴ – particle “pointing to the basis on which something is strongly affirmed, yes indeed, by” (BDAG). Marks an oath and takes an acc.

τὴν ὑμετέραν καύχησιν, – acc. linked to the oath marker νὴ. Literally, “by your boasting.” The poss. adj. is like the obj. of an obj. gen. phrase “the boasting of you.” Thus, “my boasting about you” or “as surely as I boast about you, I die daily.”

[ἀδελφοί], – voc. of simple address [W67-68].

ἣν – Rel. pronoun marking a rel. clause. Acc. dir. obj. of the rel. clause. Antecedent is τὴν…καύχησιν.

ἔχω – subj. and verb of rel. clause [pres-act-ind-1-s-ἔχω].

ἐν Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ – prep. phrase. Ἰησοῦ is partially indeclinable and is dat. sg. here.

τῷ κυρίῳ – dat. in simple apposition [W152-53].

ἡμῶν. – obj. gen. “_____ rules us.” [W116-19].
