1 Corinthians 15:45
45 Thus also it has been written, “The first person, Adam, is a living person,” the last Adam (is) a life-giving Spirit.
οὕτως – adv. referring to what precedes it.
καὶ – additive/adjunctive conj. [W671]. Adverbial use of καί (“also”).
γέγραπται· – impl. subj. and main verb [perf-pass-ind-3-s-γράφω].
ἐγένετο – main verb [aor-mid/dep-ind-3-s-γίνομαι]. Acts as a copular verb [W47-48].
ὁ πρῶτος ἄνθρωπος – nom. subj. with an ordinal adj.
Ἀδὰμ – nom. in simple apposition to the subj. [W48-49].
εἰς ψυχὴν ζῶσαν, – pred. nom. εις + acc. can function as the pred. nom. with the verb γίνομαι, ειμί, and λογίζομαι [W47-48]. ζῶσαν is anarth-adj-attr-ptc [pres-act-ptc-fem-sg-acc-ζάω]. Normally, anarthrous ptcs. are adverbial, but here it is adjectival [W617-19].
ὁ ἔσχατος Ἀδὰμ – nom. subj. of an elliptical sentence assuming another ἐγένετο.
εἰς πνεῦμα ζῳοποιοῦν. – pred. nom. of an elliptical sentence assuming another ἐγένετο [W47-48]. ζῳοποιοῦν is anarth-adj-attr-ptc [pres-act-ptc-neut-sg-acc-ζῳοποιέω]. Normally, anarthrous ptcs. are adverbial, but here it is adjectival [W617-19].
