1 Corinthians 15:49

49 καὶ καθὼς ἐφορέσαμεν τὴν εἰκόνα τοῦ χοϊκοῦ, φορέσομεν καὶ τὴν εἰκόνα τοῦ ἐπουρανίου.

49 And just as we bore the image of the (person) made of dust, we will also bear the image of the heavenly (person).

καὶ – connective conj. [W671].

καθὼς – comparative conj. of analogy/manner [W675].

ἐφορέσαμεν – subj. and main verb [aor-act-ind-1-p-φορέω]

τὴν εἰκόνα – acc. dir. obj.

τοῦ χοϊκοῦ, – gen. after certain nouns [W135]. Substantival adj. with ἄνθρωπος being the implied noun. Lexically, εἰκών normally takes a gen. after it: “image of XYZ; likeness of LMNOP.”

φορέσομεν – subj. and main verb [fut-act-ind-1-p-φορέω]. A significant textal variant reads φορεσωμεν which would be a hortatory subjv. (“Let us bear…”) [aor-act-subjv-1-p-φορέω].

καὶ – additive/adjunctive conj. [W671]. Adverbial use of καί (“also”).
