1 Corinthians 15:52

52 ἐν ἀτόμῳ, ἐν ῥιπῇ ὀφθαλμοῦ, ἐν τῇ ἐσχάτῃ σάλπιγγι· σαλπίσει γὰρ καὶ οἱ νεκροὶ ἐγερθήσονται ἄφθαρτοι καὶ ἡμεῖς ἀλλαγησόμεθα.

52 in a moment, in the glance of an eye, at the last trumpet. For (the last trumpet) will sound, and the dead will be raised (to be) imperishable, and we will be changed.

ἐν ἀτόμῳ, – prep. phrase.

ἐν ῥιπῇ – prep. phrase.

ὀφθαλμοῦ, – subj. gen. “An eye glances/moves/looks.” [W113-16].

ἐν τῇ ἐσχάτῃ σάλπιγγι· – prep. phrase. ἐσχάτῃ is an attributive adj. τῇ ἐσχάτῃ σάλπιγγι is the implied subj. of the next sentence and the main verb σαλπίσει.

σαλπίσει – main verb [fut-act-ind-3-s-σαλπίζω]. It literally means “to trumpet,” thus it is a cognate verb. The implied subject is “the last trumpet,” thus the full phrase is translated “…(the last trumpet) will trumpet.” Predictive future [W568].
