1 Corinthians 15:57

57 τῷ δὲ θεῷ χάρις τῷ διδόντι ἡμῖν τὸ νῖκος διὰ τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ.

57 But grace (be) to God who gives the victory to us through our Lord Jesus Christ!

τῷ…θεῷ – dat. ind. obj.

…δὲ… – contrastive conj. [W671-72].

χάρις – nom. subj. of an elliptical sentence implying an optative copula: “O may it be!” Also, χάρις (“grace”) is the Greek way to say “thanks.”

τῷ διδόντι – art-adj-attr-ptc [pres-act-ptc-masc-sg-dat-δίδωμι; W617-19].

ἡμῖν – dat. ind. obj. of τῷ διδόντι.

τὸ νῖκος – acc. dir. obj. of τῷ διδόντι.

διὰ τοῦ κυρίου – prep. phrase.

ἡμῶν – obj. gen. “The Lord rules us.” [W116-19].
